Changing a Fuel Pump
Post by agengr on Oct 22, 2006, 5:00pm

This Friday, I plan to swap the stock mechanical fuel pump on my truck with one from a spare engine. I've looked through the manuals and found some diagrams but no instructions on the removal of it and how to put it back on. I am not so sure how the pump is driven by the engine, so my question is: Is this a fairly simple bolt off/bolt back on procedure or are there tricks and little things to watch out for?
