Default Olive Drab #24087 w/black trim

The truck is getting close to paint. I will be going with the correct OD paint but I am thinking of going black with bumpers, brush guard, door handles, etc. I took a look through a few of the member galleries but have not seen this done. Does anyone know of an M715 done like this?

I would love to see pictures.

Black would go with it. Post up pics of whatever you end up doing

    It would probably look good.

Take a few pictures of Your truck "as is" from several angles.

Print them out on Your printer.

Put a layer of tracing paper over the print outs, and color the bumpers, brush guard, door handles... black.
Maybe with a sharpie, or something similar... depending on what you have around.

You will be able to see the Truck through the tracing paper....

Lifting the tracing paper, and flipping it back and forth will give you some real inspiration.

Sounds good to me, but this is what I would do in an afternoon... to be sure.

I personally like the truck totally OD, but the way you described what you want to do, will look ok I'm sure. I believe I came across a truck painted somewhat like you're talking about on a site while browsing the internet. It looked ok, if that's how you want it. Good luck with whatever you choose though.

    Lol...
    Anytime.

I figured out how hard photoshop was when I was layering the Birth Certificate edits.

I sure forgot to collapse and flatten the layers...

    My bad.

    Basic rookie mistake...

It still seemed to work though.

Next time, give me a pencil
