Finally got my radiator back from the shop today. Had the ports moved to accommodate the Ford, the Chebby 350 ports were on the opposite sides.

The little bit of info I found here about FE swaps is at odds with what I found... I had to trim some material off the firewall, the plate the master cylinder is mounted on. And with the engine an inch away from the firewall the jack shaft was still 4 inches short. Had to have a new one made. That put the shifter 4 inches further under the dash. Had to heavily "modify" the trans tunnel cover, bend the shifter handle and make a plate to move the Tcase shifter and hand brake handle back to almost stock location.
