Found paper work, tubes on way. Thanks.
Tubes came in, and I took the tire and tube to be mounted. Found that the tube had 3 little holes rubbed in it due to some 'little' flakes of rust working in between the tube and tire. Just some food for thought for anyone else swapping tires, as I was told all 'split rims' will get water in them and may develop rust. Get a extra tube, ha,ha.
Yep, I had a rust hole develop on the way to the Texas FE last fall. Koobster, Agengr and myself got to do a field break down to swap in my extra tube using a tree stump as a jack stand. That spare tube sure did help.
I patched that tube and had to put it back into the same tire 3 weeks later because the tire flap had come apart causing the first leak. I didn't have a spare one of those with me and the spare tube got a hole. So, two leaks from the same rim in 3 weeks is the price I paid for getting a used tire flap. I put in a new one and haven't had any trouble since.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
