While there is some rust, the frame doesnt have any bad rust...its saveable for sure.
I have to get that foam out and see what is under there...wondering if I will be looking for a decent cab tub...also there is also a vertical "rip" in the passenger side behind the door...about 6-8 inches high, kinda like a vertical forklift fork stabbed it...plus the floorboard stuff...new cab tub would solve all that. Rockers have been replaced as well with non stock pieces but they are solid and functional.
Plans going forward...thats gonna be a whole new thread....
Was it worth the wait?

Heres a movie of the truck moving...nothing fantastic but it does run and shift and all the ranges work...this is an Apple Quicktime file, .mov is the file extension.

Dang, a tailgate and it doesn’t even have the “dent” in it. What a find.
You get the same advice every other new owner of a truck gets. If it was made to be flexible or seal something. Replace it now or plan on replacing it as you start driving the truck.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Very nice. I have Al's old cab that I'm getting rid of this summer. I'll dig it out and see if you need any patch panels out of it.
Barrman, great advice as usual...the inside of one of the wheel cylinders I saw today was...well...gross to say the least...I think I took a pic...
glenn, if the tub is good all around, I might just want it whole...let me know!

Doing the E-250 wheel cylinder conversion might be a good idea on all 4 corners. I just did mine again a few months ago and made a video about it. Which as you know can be found following the link in my signature.
Also, you have 1 water can and 1 fuel can. The screw on lid is supposed to be fuel. If it has water stamped in it, look for a date also stamped in it because it will be a very, very early production version.
