Well it snowed last night. First snow of the season. My M715 is outside (horrors...LOL) and I am still trying to land my car lift. And finish some rear dually fender repairs on my Dodge. I pulled a stupid tired driver trick and broke a discontinued fender. I hope to pull the M truck in in a couple days and get on the unpacking of my shop and maybe even start laying out the wiring harness. There has been way to much to do on this home. Leaky roof, no towel bars, on and on.. The good part is everything is here. Trip after trip... It is done.

Yep Glenn, I actually just returned with a few sticks of long metal from Becky's moms. Now that is really everything. Now I spend the next 3 years trying to figure out what to keep, what to offload, and where in the heck to put everything. I really miss that area. But I had to leave. I will return some day to my favorite spots. I sure appreciate all your help. The cab exchange, picking up the parts etc. It was good to see you. And yes Gonz!!! I am chomping at the bit! I want to say thanks again for the door frame seals. I hope to have the truck in the shop by tomorrow eve. I don't have to wash it now...LOL

Well I suppose I should post what has been going on. I am more than eager to land the wire harness and finish up 1000 details. I want to enjoy this truck not look at it. I have had to push it out of the shop and winch it back in about a half dozen times now. To land the car lift, and keep it out of the way for what ever I am doing. I bored a hole in the concrete like my old place to attach a snatch block to pull it back in easily. It has been handy. I have some issues with my drivers door rear gap. It is weird as I swear the gap was perfect back on mock up. Nothing changed really except the gap was close to 1/8th of an inch. Not enough at all and chipping paint with cab flex is bound to happen. Not that I am worried about a wheeler, but still. I adjusted the door forward as much as possible without hitting the fender when opening it. The gap is about 3/16'ths now. I suppose it will do. I measured every drivers door here on two wagoneers and several spares and they all were within a 32nd of each other. I also found some really cool tubing mounts at Super bright LED's store. I put a couple on my roof top tent mount and was able to put my highlift jack on it. I thought only one came in a box but there is a pair in the box. I have some extras and can put them on anything that the different rubber inserts fit. Pretty handy.
I have still to unpack my shop. It is clear I don't have enough space so thinning the junk is going to some how happen. Tools stay but all the parts storage needs to go on a diet. I also need to run a LOT of outlets and I bought 4 big high bay 35,000 candle power lights for installing above. I need to run those wires and outlets too. They are too high for a ladder. I need to rent a manlift. I need to get this done soon.

Anyway, the new spot in a new shop. The truck will eventually be outside.

    The narrow door gap.

The mounts and highlift jack on them.

The mounts come with different inserts for various size tubing. Pick what you need.

I hope to lay out some folding tables soon and start planning on the wire harness. I have a lot of additions to do. All run through weatherpak connectors. More soon I hope.
I have just yesterday met the people who have the M715 just up the road from me. It is a 68. And getting a repower engine. They have another in the family that is also coming here soon. I told them I would like to see the truck soon. I am going to ask if I can take the serial number(s) for the VIN registry. Hope so. So odd to have another 1000 feet away from here. Anyway...

The community where I live is filled with mostly good people. It is still the cesspool of Washington state. If you lived here you would understand. It is an extension of California. Completely and totally corrupt. It is where I landed by design. The biggest and best win is Grace city church. There is no doubt God has blessed this church. And our pastor is on fire with the truth. Look up Josh Mcpherson on youtube and have a listen. You will see why our church is growing exponentially in every direction. And you can determine just how good a church is based on its enemies. THAT is why I will stay. Besides they need another person on their security team... If the neighbor does not mind, I will post up the serial number for the registry. Thank you Jon.

Well guess what... I am tired of working on everything except my truck. So I pulled it back in the shop testing my new albright contactor in my CJ's 8274 winch which worked flawlessly. Finally. So I have pulled the truck in and out of the shop a half dozen times to work on other issues. But today I winched it back in and set up three folding tables. I actually got out the painless harness and all the nitnoid accessories that will go along with it. I even opened the box and took it out! It is a dash mounted ignition switch 21 circuit harness. So time to get some wires in this rig. I drilled a floor anchor in the concrete and bent up a plate to attach a snatch block to. I have done this at every home for years now. Seems I like to play with non running Jeeps...

    Pretty handy for dead rigs.

So this is just the start of it all. I have a lot of extras to integrate. Dome light, floor light, frame lights, underside tent lights in the bed, windshield washer, etc. Painless has a pretty comprehensive installation guide. Being a real dude I tossed it aside... Just kidding I am studying it carefully. Ha I have all weatherpack connectors too. Better than Packard 56 stuff which would have been period correct for civi rigs, but totally vulnerable to water intrusion and corrosion. So Weatherpack it is.

I hope to make significant progress before the metric poop ton of snow I have here melts. I want to wheel this thing. More hopefully soon.
