Thread: Hypalon Wire is Going

    Default Hypalon Wire is Going

Hypalon type wire, from several manufacturers, is no longer being made. Production stopped in 2010 but I just found out. This is the wire type that is used in our "M" series vehicles. Black, highly flexible rubber looking insulation that is heat and weather resistant. I don't know what has replaced it as I can find out from searches. I just bought the last 100' reels of #16 and #14 from Allied Electronics. They still have a few larger reels but VERY expensive. Figured I better get some while I can. You can still buy it by the foot at Midwest Military if anyone thinks they might need some.
