You can try adjusting the linkage all the way, so that the throwout bearing pushes goes as far in as possible. That would rule out a clutch problem.
If your pilot busing is sticking that badly, I'm surprised the input shaft went in in the first place.

One thing you could do is to put the tranny in first gear and start it. See how much the truck rolls forward...
