I think it would be perfect if the aux tank was higher than the stock tank. Then you need only connect the two with a fuel flow line out of the lower portion of the aux tank and a breather connecting the two near the top. As you pulled fuel out of the stock tank, it would also pull out of the aux tank and the fuel level indicator would be accurate-plus! Then when the aux tank ran out, you'd only be pulling from the stock tank and the level indicator would let you know when it was close to empty. Fill-up would fill both tanks from the stock filler neck.
