You wont find a Auto Glass shop that has a stock M715 glass in their inventory or anyway to get it. They can't go to LOF or PPG and order it. That is why you need to go to a glass shop that will cut a new piece of Lamitate glass from the old one or a pattern you provide. I have no idea what speed glass is. Never heard of it. If your thinking tempored glass you do not want that for a windshield. Would really stink if a rock flew off that semi and hit your window and it shattered right then and there into a zillion pieces.
Or are you talking about the rubber molding. Putting the new glass in is a whole different matter.
I don't consider myself an expert but I work five days a week 4-6 hours a day repairing both flat glass (windows, doors etc) and Auto glass so I have some idea of what I'm talking about.
