One wheel or many?

There are many reasons why your brakes would make noise but the most common reasons would be metal to metal contact or vibration. If you were to remove your drum, I bet you would find your lining is worn out, a peice of lining has broken off or there is a missing retaining clip. If it were my brakes, the fist thing I would do is a visual inspection.
