I'm considering using the same motor, 6bt, for my M 715. If you were to do it all over again would you have cut the firewall to make more radiator clearance?
Anything else you would have done differently?

Yes , the best way is definitively to get an extra 2 inches back to keep the stock fan or just drop a non intercooler engine and move the rad a good 3 inches and you wont have any problems. I would have installed it back maybe an extra half inch and maybe the stock fan should have been use ..
I may try next year relocating the rad cooler under the truck and move the rad like i should have done it first .... reinstalling the stock fan and all those other coolant rad could be under the bed ...

New braided rear brake lines
Lokar brake handle ( black powdercoated )
New np205 twin stick linkages with engraved billet handles ( just received my rod ends from Summit )
Need to install Shakespear 4243 antenna and cb ( waiting for the sugar scoop mount )
Under bed electric 8000 pounds winch
And for october ..... calling two detroit locker
And before the snow ..... air over hydrolic control for my trailer .....
Also need to change the oil on the cummins and remove the fuel injection pump because the small paper gasket between is leaking ... 3 hours job for a $2 gasket .......
Then just wait for the first snow storm
