Not to be nitpicky, but are you going to be happy with the placement of that fusebox? I put mine, along with the ECM for the fuel injection in the glovebox. Renders it useless for storage, but kept everything weather protected, and easy to see when you need to go in there for any reason. I just hate laying in the floor for a blown fuse with my head buried under the dashboard.
time will tell. it really isn't all that hard to get an eye on it kneeling down and looking into the kick panel area. i like the idea of putting it in the glove box, but i guess its to late now. hopefully it will never see water that high, and if it does i will have my fingers crossed. i will likely steal your idea when i swap to EFI in the future and put the ECM in the glove box or that area.

today i got the front lights all finished up and started working on the engine harness. although the quality of components seems as good as painless, the directions are very much less with the EZ wiring harness. thank goodness painless has a PDF file online for download. i wired in a maxifuse for the the main harness power as opposed to the provided "fusable link" provided.
also got the HEI and alternator circuits terminated.

I haven't got a darn thing done in a while. i have been putting in above average hours lately, and my inlaws were in town last week. that killed the weekend before last, and i had to work this last weekend.

i did however price seats from Twisted Stitch. 580 for a bench and 550 for a pair of low back buckets. i guess i will put in some more OT

    forgot to bring the camera.

i managed to peel away from life long enough to build mt high pressure PS hoses and finish up the battery cables for one of the batteries. that is because napa only had one battery... i also ordered the rest of my guages. that means that if i find time to finish up the wiring and remember to get tranny oil and PS fluid i will be able to test fire the thing. an exciting thought

a few pics. very little progress has been made. we have been really busy at work, and i have had little time to work on this turd.

installed pics of the fan shroud

stole this brake light switch from derby car land..

made up some hose for the high pressure PS

still need to plumb in the low psi return. it will be routed through the ATF cooler in the radiator for some added volume and cooling of the oil

found some guages that matched the one that came with my fuel sender kit. turns out that the fuel guage is a SW with the logo left off. the bezels will be painted black to match the others wen i get a chance to grab some paint and some more masking tape
