Hood number

I'm thinking that it might be 03G21868. Looking at the sticky it shows only three digits then a letter. Unlike earlier vehicles that had 4 then the letter. Just trying to get a definitive answer before I stencil the wrong number in her

Looking at your pics I would say that it was most likely 03G. The only other possibility would be 03C, everything else will have a different shape and they did not seam to get very high in the alphabet before production stopped. The month that it was built will give you the most definite answer as to which one it is. A truck built in Feb-March will most likely be a 03C and a truck built later in the year, say around Sept. on would be 03G.
