It only took 8 students, but we put the cab on by hand this morning. We got a little bit of time to throw in the parking brake/transfer case shifter mount along with the clutch master, remote cylinder and slave too. Here is how the thing looks now:

I measured the floor of the cab to the ground today and got 35 inches. I have written Sermis an email telling him to work on his verticle jump because he is going to need it.

No it is not. All the pieces that still need to go on the truck are in the bed. I will be taking most of those parts in next week to get prepped and painted. Then the bed will be empty so it can get prepped.

I was reminded that most of my pictures in this thread have gone away. I can’t believe how many years it has been since I posted anything. So, this post is to make the thread easier to find next week so I can start putting pictures back in.

It sure looks good. I kind of wish I had done the cummins motor. I just talked with Mike in Oregon. 503M715 username. He just sold a couple of them. Rats... So despite my thread title, you are still the long build thread king!
I am looking forward to seeing what you and the students have going.
And some of my searches lately are coming up with no pictures. Bummer and back when photobucket dumped everyones pictures unless they paid the ransom, we lost thousands of thousands of valuable pictures in every arena.
This site was hit hard. I pay PB monthly BTW.
    Staying tuned.

Hi Barrman - Very nice build and very happy to hear that you have the pictures to put back in.

Im getting ready to start a similar build and the descriptions you gave are great and pics will hopefully fill in some of the missing pieces and give me better ways to approach what I am doing.
