AMC 360 swap

Went for a short drive (5 miles or so) last night. No real drama.

Everything worked fine except I was in 4Hi. See other post http://www.m715zone.com/vb/showthread.php?t=13913.

Also went by Home Depot (cause I had a gift card) to get some extra tools to leave in the truck.

Drove the truck into work today. Longest trip so far - 15 miles or so. Everything ran great. A few pops/groans here and there as everything finds its happy spot.

Top speed is still about 50. Kinda wishing that I went with an auto trans too. O well, you gotta have something that you want to change or all the fun is over

i feel the same way, i already want to regear mine a little deeper and i have only put maybe 20 miles on it total
