    Default Looking for weather strip

I'm getting down to the nitty gritty of the completion and am looking for the pinch welt to go around the back of the cab and the two strips of window weather strip that fits onto the cab frames, between the roll up window and frame.
What have you guys found and where should I look????

Ah my specialty LOL ... you can get the window channels done at resorationspecialist.com and the cab trim at any JD parts dealer. I'll see if I can find the part number. The door weatherstrip can be gotten at JCW ... I'll look up that part number to.

If you don't mind the civilian Jeep weather stripping that goes on the channel inside the cab edge near the door instead of on the door. BJ's Offroad has that style, reasonably priced. That is what I will be using. I still need the weather stripping that goes on the cab bows for the windows too.

i got the weatherstrip for around the top bow frames from the previously mentioned restoration specialites site it comes in different colors but black is correct, they as you see in that pic reline the window channels also they have a catalog avial and you can find alot in it except special moulded stuff like the orignal door seals but they have a seal w the same profile it just doesnt have the molded ends or the retaning clips you just glue it on. V.P.W. might still have some weatherstrip left You could ck what they still have

Do you by chance have a part number for the window weather stripping for around the cab windows? That would save us some time searching their websitse for the correct stuff. Thanks.

Well, I just checked out the website and called them up. The pieces are measured from my tub and bows. I added about 1 foot to each for good measure and here's my calc's.
    Trim Seal #ST36A ......$2.75 per foot......12ft@ $2.75= $33.00

Compact Windlace #294164 (Basketweave)...$1.25 per foot....6ft for back of tub.....$7.50

I'm thinking of putting the windlace all the way around the pinchweld in the door opening. it would add another 7.5 feet for each side but it would dress up that sharp edged joint along the bottom of the door sill. I waited too late to get the order in today, but I will place the order on Tuesday. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I got all my "cab trim cover" pieces from the salvage yard at $0 cost from old J trucks. That's $0 per foot.

Just so you know there are other sources for this aesthetic/miniscule material.
