Default Rainy days and sore back

I've had lots of time this week to catch up on reading all the posts I usually don't have time to read. No interior or shop work for me this week because the window company supplying the trim can't pull their head out of their posterior. Also nursing a sore back that seems to plague me every year or so. The only good thing this week is I've had lots of time off with not much to do, or should I say I didn't feel like doing much. I couldn't handle the downtime yesterday so I built a fan shroud for my truck. I'll start painting it today and hopefully have it installed by this weekend. I'll get some pics up later today when I start the painting process. I have the bridge plate ready to paint also. I got a steering stabilizer to add to the steering to take out that ever so slight bump steer I get when I nail a pothole at road speed. I also checked the alignment by myself. Not 100% sure but it looks like I could add 3/16" toe in as it appeared to have 0 toe in. Maybe it would help it track just that much better, not that I'm complaining as I think it steers pretty good now. When I get home from bidding jobs today I'll start a fire in the shop, yesterday it was raining and 48 degrees. I had to leave the shop doors open all day too, burrr. Because a humming bird flew in and couldn't find it's way out. I would see something through my welding helmet or safety glasses and look up to see it hovering about 12" from my face. I hope it found it's way out the shop doors. I don't want to find it dead from the shop and truck smells. Anyways, just rambling now, because I'm bored. Coffee and off to work.

    Fish,

Yeah I have those days too. Your too sore, the weather sucks and you just don't feel like getting anything done. Glad to see your getting back into the swing of things. Look forward to the pics.

Are you building a new shop or is this comment regarding a job on which you're currently working?

Window companies always seem to be a pain in the rear. Although, I've never had them supply the trim.

Interior wood trim for new windows for job I am doing. It was supposed to be ready to pick up last week. Nada, maybe next week they say. I wasted a whole week for the spray shop. Now when I get really busy it will show up. Feast or Famine as usual. No complaints, my back feels better. Actually worked on priming the fan shroud, painted the yellow on my designation plate for the brush guard and worked on my brothers cj today. All in all was a good day. Now back to work tomorrow if no rain.
