    Default canvas top snaps

I got the top from Randy and tried hooking it up yesterday. He said it wasn't really original type but it fits great. My question is, are there supposed to be a row of snaps along the back of the cab? I assume so but neither one of my trucks has them. Thanks, Bill

Okay, searching the manuals says something about three straps holding the rear down, not snaps. Anyone got a better pic of the attachment of the paulin in the rear cab area?

Yes, there are three footman loops along the back that the straps on the top go through.

Should be obvious if your footman loops and straps are all there.

Hey Wrecker, the top I sold you was a snap attachment at the rear. It was made by an upholstery shop to the best of my knowledge.

My truck had a row of the male snaps along the back lip of the cab.

The factory soft top attaches on the inside with three straps.

If you have a good hardware store nearby to you, they will have those snaps, and they attach with a little sheetmetal screw to the body. I keep a few of them on hand for some other convertible stuff I work on, and they are all the same size too.

No sweat, just wondering what was supposed to be there. That top is mainly just to keep some water out of my second truck while it's on the back burner. I have it completely attached sans the rear row and it allready looks better than my homemade hard top on my primary truck.
