In the meantime ... painting all my part with POR-15 and then when it's still tacky i'm applying a coat of Krylon OD paint ... IT's look very nice and seems to be very resistant ... i drop a caliper from my hand directly on my driveway ..... you cannot see where the caliper touch the ground .... i will do my entire drivetrain and frame this way ... permanent fix.

If you use POR-15, be certain to use their tie-coat primer. If not, all of the hard work of painting you've done will flake off soon afterward.

I found out the hard way with my floors, after I POR-15ed them then used the spray on bedliner. It started coming off after about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the advice but i never use any primer and i always had good quality job without any drawbacks .... i just apply the por-15 directly over the brushed surface.

If you prime and paint while its still tacky it should stick.
