Looks like it's going to be a sweet build!
I do have one concern though, the front springs on these trucks actually flex better than you might think. Spring over with 39s should clear just fine, but I'm a little apprehensive of the thought of the heavy 5.9 sitting on two less leaves. Add to that the weight of the winch and custom bumper and I'm thinking the front is going to be sitting pretty low, not to mention you're going to have less resistance to axle wrap.
Were I you, I'd assemble it with the complete stock front springs and see how it goes, you can always cuss me and pull two leaves out later
The rear is a whole different story. Stiff and refuses to flex in stock form, have at that end of the truck.

Just received my tires yesterday .... 7x 11.00r20 XZL out of a canadien 5t retired army truck. Six of thems look like new ... the other was a very good spare. I received also somes parts including a complete hood blackout. Thanks to a member on this forum who help me find parts. And a was having new composite taillamps .... so i give a try on how they would fit ..... tomorrow i changing the right side. Also my appointement is taken .... only 2 weeks left before they took my truck ... 2 weeks at the bodyshop ....... Then axles swap ans customs wheels from STAZWORKS; i'm looking for a two pieces military style 20" rims.

In January i was posting on this board about how much can it cost for a m715 ... i have talked with potential buyer because i really wanted one. I already have been bitten by the mod bug .... and this is my first MV . Lots of parts left from my old jeep XJ project. Since i did not find any m715 like i really wanted ... i decide to start from the beginning and having a true MV like i always want to !! So here the build tread ..... it's just the beginning !!!

My new diffs are now ready for the procedures ..... clean and repaint , install new 5.38 gears with locker , disk brakes ..... and crane parts
I have also installed my second seat .... was not bolt on as the other one .... but have taken 15 minutes ...
And found a my local auto parts some mirrors .... no they are not identical ... but for the price , somes sanding and paint ... look like it was on that truck since the beginning !!!

Looks like the same mirrors I got at the auto parts here some time back...did the same thing as you, painted and good to go.
