divorced may be another thing. i was thinking married since that is what i am using. i think that the divorced inputs are the same spline as their married counterparts though. as always, i may very well be wrong. just speaking from my limited knowledge

for sure those divorced are all 32 splines because i was having a ford, a dodge and a gm unit ... and everything could be changed over the three ... i have GM yoke on my Dodge 205 ... but this works only on the divorced units only.

I have a married Dodge 205 to my A618 ... so tu be sure i will verify !!!

if its a married 205 from an auto truck then it will be 23 spline. in that case, to swap a 32 spline input in the 205 you have to have the case machined to accept the larger input shaft bearing. not a really difficult thing to do, just time consuming and annoying. if you can find a GM 205 from a th400 truck it will have the 32 spline input. also dodge 29 spline 205s that where used behind the getrag 5 speed have the large bearing bore that accepts the 32 spline input and bearing without needing machine work.

my concern is that when you turn the 203 range box around to use it as an overdrive you will need a male input on your 205, so the two mesh. i don't know much about dodge 203s, but i know that the GM 203 from behind a TH350 will have a female 27 spline input, and the GM 205s from a TH350 will have a male 27 spline input. if you don't find a combination liek that you will have to have a custome spud shaft made.

I know that my friend talked about a shaft between and make aslo a new retainer bearing support on the 205 case.

I know it will be a PITA to fit everything .... but i'm sure it will be well worth all the efforts.

Thanks but it's very easy ... i took my 1½" lugnuts socket ....perfect fit !!! then just adjust to fit with the new master .... took me about 2 hours to complete everything !! The hardest part was the plug to block the remaining line on the "T" .. i had to bring out the welder and make one of a fitting ... like the sparks plugs ... unable to have a 3/16 brake plug here .... so if you can't have one .... built it !!!
