LOTS and LOTS of old (nos) medium duty parts on ebay cheap. I have not put my stuff together yet, but will look there after my call to the parts store if they are in fact that high.

I am still working from a back up student computer here at work and can't really do any searching until I get mine back. I will share whatever I find out then as well.

ok, once my dad gets back ill up load the pics... i didnt get any of the all thread, but thats easy, if you set up your motor like how mine is all take the mesurments so you dont have to sit their for a couple hours trying to get it right. took me a while to find a nice spot, as you seen in those first pics, thats the same spot where my mounts are, their in line with the shock mounts... a 427 is probly going to be very simalar to mine seeing i think my block size is between a 427 and a 454...not shure, but my block is prety big, and i left some room to play with incase.

he should be back soon...ill post them up asap.

Anyone know of one of these chevy to deuce trans bellhousings for sale.
I went to 2 medium duty truck junkyards this weekend with no luck, the guys kinda looked at me funny when I told them what I was planning to do. Oh well the search continues.

I generally don't get too involved in telling anyone what I am doing when it comes to parts acquisition. Once they hear something like "military truck" or "adapting" they either lose interest fast, or figure they can charge anything they want.....

Yup, the less they know the better. Ask for a 366 or 427 bell, adapter, and flywheel. Get the bell with holes where the yellow circles are.
