    Default My turn signal blinker is.........

    Was out today and used my turn signals and I get one blink about every 3 or 4 seconds
    vvveeeerrrrrrryyyyyyyyy slooooooooooooooooooooooow blink
    Any ideas of the problem and a fix .

    A bad bulb somewhere in the chain!

    Maybe a bulb or a ground...I'd make sure the grounds are good anyway...

    Is this the solid state turn signals or the setup with the big distribution box and the turn signal switch in the cab that says "Sparton" on it?

    Then its the early style with the large distribution box under the hood...in that box are electrical relays that may be getting to the end of their service life and are slowing down...

    They arent sold seperately anywhere...if this is your problem, I have the guts out of a dixt. box somewhere...if I can find them...or Saturn Surplus sells the whole box for somewhere around $40 to $50...heres a link to their page:

    If you have the old style turn signal box

    The number of good bulbs shouldn't make a difference.

    Make sure the ground is good at terminal M (like Brute says) and the connection to terminal D is good and tight. You should have a full 24v to D.

    Amphi is THE man when it comes to the distribution box...he did all the internal dist box circuit diagrams so nicely for us.

    Hey Thanks guys for all the tips I'll check it out at daylight tomorrow.

    One thing I gotta say is people sure look at ya when ya drive this beast around.
