Bought a whole it for that sme heater some years back for $50...mounted it on the passenger side firewall in the cab...it wasnt enough in this climate and the defrost was less than marginal when hooked to the M715 defroster ducts...I had to carry an ice scraper for te inside of the windshield and scrape it about every 10-12 miles on cold days.

Where you live, it may be enough...I can only speak of way up here.

That's a heater for like a M151 or a M38A1...The reason it will work on 12Vs is because when you install the heater kit you put a resister in line with the switch so you have high and low fan speed. The high fan speed is 24V and the low speed is the motor running on 12Vs. I would think it would be a bit slow for a M715 in your AO there Jon. Then again I would think you would need an Artic fuel burning heater...

I bought one of those for my 715 and it works pretty good for my area and use. However, a lot of factors go into it though:

    Where you live.
How often are you going to be out in freezing weather.
How leaky is your cab / ragtop or hardtop.

The heater is marginal under cold conditions and tight cab so if you have leaks / ragtop and expect <30F then upgrade to the larger unit.

Shoot me a PM with your Zip so we can check shipping. I'll go find the box in the basement and take another look at it.

It has to be the same type, as that's where I got it from.
