    Default CUCV Axle ?'s

    Hey there fellas,

Just wanted to know if anybody knows the width of the CUCV axles. I am trying to locate a set and the width will help the junk yard guys identify them. I want to say I read somewhere here that they were 71", I did the Search, but couldn't find it.

Heres a rookie question for you guys... a WMS measurement is taken to the outside of the studs or to where the wheel touches the disc or drum (base of the studs)?

Oh yeah, almost forgot...anybody know a source in so cal?
    Thanks, Jay

    WMS means "Wheel Mounting Surface"

Base of the threads as you said. Face of the drum or rotor...however you want to call it. The surface the back of the wheel sits on.

CUCV 14 bolt should be 67.5"
CUCV Dana 60 front is 69.5"

PS: Any Chevy 1 ton from the same era is going to measure the same, so it doesn't mean you're getting CUCV axle just because they measure up right. No rear locker and 4.56 gear guarantees. Make that non dually 1 tons.
