Thread: '715 on a Milk Carton

Default '715 on a Milk Carton

Been wondering about my old M715- My buddy 'Murf built it, then sold it to me so he could buy an engagement ring, and then I traded it back to him later. He trimmed the lower header panel on it, and swapped some XJ buckets into it.

Anyway, it was 440/727 powered with the stock NP200/D60/70 Detroit in the rear. Had a Ramsey RE series winch on the front, a Postal Jeep shifter in it, and a custom dash with a ton of toggle switches. 38.5x11.00 Boggers on stock wheels, no grille gaurd and a rhino grille.

Just curious what ever became of it.

One sold on e-bay about a year ago that looked very similar. I believe it was in North Carolina if I remember correctly.

Do you remember if it had a 440? The rockers had been replaced with stainless by the time he sold it as well, IIRC...

I don't remember what engine/trans combo it had, but I do remember the shade of green and the roll bar in the bed.

I don't know if e-bay auctions that ended that long ago can be accessed still.

Pretty sure they only go back about 90 days. The roll bar was originally out of a '71 Riviera that I raced in a figure 8 race- I made it fot the '715 so that it would be legal for my 4x4 club's events and trips to the Badlands.

Oh, well. Off to search the Google....

Try using the "google images" search. That may garner a pic of the truck and then just chase it from there.
