We had a member who was rebuilding alternators. Anyone know or remember who? I got a question or two for him. I think he also posted up rebuilding one on the psudo-zone. Is that still around?

Chris, take pictures and tell us what you do. I am about to take a pair of bad ones apart myself and see if I can make one good one.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Well Tim, you'll be waiting for a while. I was getting the info for someone who is trying to fix their own, not me. Since I got that new deuce, I have alot on my plate.

Go ahead and rub it in about the new duece. Congratulations.
It will be a while on my end as well.

I've placed a few back into service so if you want to post some pics I can help out as much as I can from here.
The diodes are replacable without much trouble and the regulators can sometimes be fixed if the part is obvously blown and one can figure out what it was to begin with. Hopefully the code on the end of the mod # are the same.
Stators and rotors are tough but do-able.
Thanks. I gave the info to a buddy working on one. He has not blown up his house YET. Worst comes to worst, you will get a pm.

Will they interchange with the M35.
I think Tim said they should, but don't want to put words in his mouth. (or anything for that matter) I know how you guys think!
