Thread: Locker question in the front?

  1. #1

Default Locker question in the front?

Have any of ya'll have installed a POWERTRAX LOCK-RIGHT Locker. The lunch box style in the dana 60s? If any of you have, how does it handle?

I didn't install mine, but I did have one. It handled fine, but then, I had lockouts too.

Never did one in the Dana 60, but did do one in a Dana 30 in an XJ front diff. Even with the stock hubs (non disconnect) It wasn't terribly noticeable in 2WD on the road.

Well if I decide to put a locker in the front. I'll put on lockout hubs. Put at this point now I might just weld up the spider gears on the front and save some dough for a locker in the rear.
