Default Got any pics of M725s in Vietnam?

In the 11/07 issue of MVPA's Supply Line magazine, there's an ad by a gentleman named Richard Goldberg who is looking for pictures of M725s in active duty in Vietnam. Since I do not recall seeing a post from him here, I thought I would post his request myself.

If you have any such pictures, you are asked to e-mail them to Mr. Goldberg at rdgoldberg@sbcglobal.net

I e-mailed him to tell him about the Zone, let him know I was going to put up this post for him, and asked if he wouldn't mind sending me some copies of any M725 pictures he gets so I could share them here.

    Thanks!

I think you might be looking for some holy grails there Timmah. The M715 serries trucks didn't make it to Vietnam in great numbers. Most went to units in Germany and to state side units in support of units in Germany. Though Vietnam was a big deal military speaking it wasn't the big show being ready to fight WWIII with Russia was the big show. It was center ring. Vietnam was ring #2. So it may be difficult to find pics of them.

    Funny what you remember.
When I first signed up for the Zone I think that pic & attending story were in the FAQ? Or pics section. I think I read/saw everything on the entire site in one marathon session when I first caught the fever.

My Dad served in the 1st Infantry Division in Lai Khe in 1969-70 in guess what? Motor Pool.

I know he has a ton of pics and I will look through them and see what I can find. He drove a wrecker, when not getting shot at, and if memory serves me correct, it was a Dodge. I have seen some pics of it along with many other vehicles of all shapes and sizes and seem to also recall seeing an M or two in those. I'll ask and see what I can come up with.

Any M715, M725 or their variants you could share would be most welcome here! (Probably ANYthing you find in the way of MVs in Vietnam would be welcome here!)

    Thanks!
