Chris, come up to Seattle and cool off. You can build a cage for me while you are here
I like the look of 1.75 inch tubing. we use that primarily for all cage structures, unless the owner askes for something different. our smaller competition inspired chassis is 1.5 inch and our big chassis is 1.75.
if/when i cage my M truck, it'll be 1.75" and i am not yet completely sure if i will use DOM or HREW. likely DOM because its what we have around the shop, and its what we get when we order tubing.

I'm about to start a rollcage project and would REALLY appreciate pictures of everybody's cages/bars for inspiration!
One more request....
For the guys that have built the cages, is it possible to get a few shots of the dash area and how you routed the tubing around the windshield and footwell?
Thanks!

I built all 3 the same in these areas:

Like the family cage. I have 5 kids and a wife to fit in my 715.
Dummy,
Change your name...your truck is where I want mine to be and cant get there. It is very well planned out for a group of people and has real nice protection and safety stuff.
Sincerely,
The real dummy
