Default Might be adding a backhoe

The mani reason i got my M715 was to use it for Gold prospecting and so far its been a dependable little burro, but to aid my task i have just picked up this Kelley backhoe attachment that im going to hang on the stern of it. question is the Hydraulic pump is rated at 8gpm and 540 rpm. what is the PTO shaft speed compared to idle (or a tad faster) rpm with the stock 230.
this unit weighs in at 900 pounds so it shouldnt be too much of a burden if i mount it like a goose neck hitch and tie in to a beefed up rear cross member

The stock PTO box on the T-98 has approximately a 2:1 reduction. Meaning the output shaft will be turning at half the speed of the engine RPM. So if you brought the engine to right aroun 1,000-1,100 RPM you'd have your 540 RPM for the pump.
