Default Winch shifter in the cab?

I am installing the winch shifter lever. My truck was without a winch. I have all the pieces I think, but I am not sure as to where a couple pieces go. I believe it is a shifter lock. I'm sure is simple, I just a picture or someone to explain how this works. This is the last step of my long winch rebuild and install. Anyone have a picture they can post of the shifter lever and does it have a lock? Thank You Fisherman

Thanks Brandon, I'll put it together just like that, and yes I do have all the pieces. I'll get some pics up when I have everything finished.

Fish, does your truck have the indentation on the cab floor to show where the winch lever gets installed? I was surprised to see that mine does (non-winch truck).

I think all of them do...part of the cab stamping whether it needed it or not. Mine has it with no stock winch.

Yes the stamping is there for the winch shifter, but I'm not installing in the factory location. Does anyone have a picture of the dash mounted shift pattern for the the stock PTO on their dash? I need to know what stock was for a shift pattern so I can install my lever correctly with the lock. My shifter will be forward of the PTO thus reversing the shift pattern.
