Funny how their engagement lever looks like Warn. I think there are maybe 2-3 different winch manufacturers out there and they all supply the different companies. Also notice how the 9K lb winch looks to be the same as their 10K lb winch. Even the motor specs are the same. I've always wondered why. Are they just charging MORE for the same product with a higher rating?
Pierce has been around forever and are quite common on wrecker trucks.
Also, the motor specs aren't the same on the 9k and 10k. Check out the reduction ratios.

I have the pierce 9000 it's frickin awsome, and all it takes to make it a 12500 is a $160 gear set.
