Thread: M715 rims fit an M105 Trailer?

  1. #1

Default M715 rims fit an M105 Trailer?

I know the specs for the M715 rims are:
Lugs are 5/8"x18TPI. The center hole is 5.5" diameter. Backspacing is 5.5". Width is 6.5 inches. Bolt pattern is 6 lug on 7.25"

Will these fit an M105 trailer? I know the trailer rims are 20", but will these bolt on ok?

What are the specs for the M105 rims?

    Thanks guys,
    Elliott

Edit, I see this was posted already in the general discussion column....

Are you looking at an M105 or an M101 trailer. The M101 trailers where 3/4 ton trailers made to go behind M37s, then M715 and then M880s, and then M1009s and even Hummers have pulled them. The M105 trailer is a 1.5 ton trailer and was made to be pulled by duce and a halfs M35 and larger vehicles. The M715 rims will not fit a M105 at all. The M715 rims will fit the M101 trailer with an addaptor to go from 5 lugs to the 715s 6 lugs. I'm just wondering if you have the right numbered trailer?

Thanks guys, I was trying to get info for a guy and didn't know he'd already posted his question in the open discussion. He has the larger (105) trailer and the M715 rims won't work.
