Does it fit on that trailer? How wide did it end up outside of wheel to outside of wheel, I've been keeping my eyes open for a deckover trailer, but not sure how big it needs to be....

I would guess it to be around 96" wide (if I remember how wide mine was).

As for a trailer, it's not really the width of the deck that kills you, it's the fenders on trailers that are not deckover.
Of course I just put angle iron over my fenders and it went right over them.

    Btw, darn nice truck there!

Question, do you think those shorter shackles are limiting you? They sure look like they are getting a serious workout with that flex!

502 runs great, though the tranny is not functioning properly so I dont know the strength yet.

I have a deck over, dual axle, tandem trailer that has a 96" deck and I would say edge of tire to tire is around 94" without actually measuring. Max legal width on the road 102" and that is what my trailer is to the rub rails.

My front springs are squating about 3" more than the back. They were made to weak , I am going to have to do somthing about this. The bracket where the shackles attach to the frame are opposite each other. I am assuming this is the way all 715's are, though I did not confirm this. I should have looked at the other one I had before I sold her. Anyway, One of the shackles is (bottomed out) on one side, and the other is protruding past that point, since there is nothing to stop it. This is in the normal sitting position.
