FNG,the band is adjustable 2 ways, small screw with spring and j-bolt tension. try to get the t-case & trans alignment as perfect to 100% alignment as possible. you just have to play with it untill you get it. you,ll be glad you did down the road promiss . nice work your buildin a 1st class rig. glad to see it. also take the drum mounted to the yoke to your machineist and have him spin it on a lathe to turn the drum perfectly aligned and smooth. bet that is where your friction problem is. call if you need to.

    fng,
your machineist made a register on both sides of the spacer to align it up to center on the flange and companion flange right ? your not relying on the bolts to center it all up right ?????

Yes he did, he machined the spacer and then added two 1/4" alignment pins that will not allow any rotation. Everything mates up solid the bolts just keep it from comming apart. Thanks for asking though, I'm about to tackle the power steering ram next week, is 10 pm still a good time to call you? Thanks for checking Bob.

Someone forgot to tell the FNG that orange isn't one of the allowable colors on an M715! It's WAAAYYY too pretty!

Thanks guys, you're right about the bright color. But it was what I had left over from the Eng. rebuild so I used it...fortunately it'll be underneath so no tactical infringements occur in the field. hahaha
