I put a hood from a 1988 Grand Wagoneer on my M715 and the lines/creases don't match up very well.
Is there an earlier version of the FSJ hood that I should be looking for?

I have an 88 hood at home, just wrote a note to remind me to look. I had assumed it was the same as the rest.

This post is closed-captioned for the hearing impaired.
I have one off of a 90 or 89 and it is close but no cigar....only i can tell. But I played with it for an hour adjusting and adjusting to get it close!
I've heard before that there's an apparent difference in the front sheetmetal after about '83. That's about the time they lopped the eyebrow off the cab on the J-trucks, too.
I just went and looked. My 69 kaiser wagoneer has the same hood as my M715. My wagoneer has all the latches and the plastic cosmetic cross bar in front of the radiator. Take all the civy junk away and it's identical. I suspect any Kaiser FSJ hood would be the same. When AMC took over they probably changed some things.
Its not noticeable unless you are REALLY looking for it....adjust it dead on and it will be almost undetectible to the human eye!
Thanks to Hammer I "located" this old thread.
