    Default reverse light

Did the M715 have an actual reverse light?
If so is there a transmission switch that activates it?
Also, what happens if I connect a 12 volt light to a 24 volt source.
I need reverse lights for the trucks, neither of which has one.
I can get a small utility light to use but of course all at local parts store are 12 volt. Someone had some sort of conversion chart for 12 and 24 volt bulbs, is it on the site anywhere?
Suggestions welcome for getting functional reverse lights.

A stock M715 did not have a reverse light or a reverse light switch on the transmission.

Here is a very well written site that details a M37 conversion to 12v. The chart on the page shows the stock light bulb numbers and their 12V equal.

    http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/12voltconversion.htm

The same chart is in the online manual section at the top of the Zone too.

I have a complete chart saved somewhere of all 6-12-24 volt automotive bulbs. I just need to find it. I will post it if I do.

This isn't the one I wanted, but it does cover the basics.

Didn't Jon or one of the other members do a write up on either the old board or the temp board on adding a buck up switch to the vehicle? As for a light if you want to go the extra bling get an LED light most of them will run on any voltage from 6-48 volts and would be no problem running it on 24V.

Jon actually bought a used T-98 that somebody had rigged a reverse light switch to. Yes on the LED, they work at all levels.

Here's a 12V set-up wired to an NV4500 with a secondary master cut-off switch for covert ops. I know you're looking for T-98 stuff, but this at least shows the back-up lights mounted. Plus, you get to see that I can't focus a digital camera.

I get real good visibility with the big lights.

I meant to write that you could just wire a manual switch like my secondary cut-off and use your backup lights as needed.
