    Default Innertube size

Has anybody ever used the stock 9.00x16 innertubes on the 38 inch michellin XLs? I talked to Rusty at innertube.com and he wasnt sure if they would work or wouldnt work. Thanks.

They will strech quite a bit. If you are wanting to reuse the original tubes as in 40 years old, DON'T. They might hold for a while but will fail in time. Spend the money and get new tubes.

Yep, there really isn't any need to say it again, but I will. The stock tubes will work, but unless they are new radial tubes, they will fail on you soon afterwards. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to buy new Michelins all that often. Especially because I was not willing to spend another $20 for new tubes.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
