    Default A New 715 Owner

Since I moved to CO, I have watched a 715 sit outside an old warehouse by my plant for 6 months. I couldn't stand it anymore so I bought it this week. I dont know much about the 715, only that outside of a Deuce it is one of the biggest jeep ever made. I do not really plan to wheel the 715 since it in such good condition. (Leave that to my CJ or XJ) It needs a new bed since the current one is hacked up from someone putting a camper on it. I wouldn't mind a hardtop also, regardless of whether it is original or not. I have been driving it around my plant and have since gained the nickname "rambo" by my employees. Let me know what you think and the quirks, interesting facts, problems with these beauties of metal and steel.

Welcome to the 'zone! Always glad to have another owner show up here, at the number 1 source for information on these great trucks! (shameless plug - but gets bennie points from Jon)

Nice looking truck you have - would you be so kind as to provide the s/n and mfg date for the registry?

Any and all questions you have will be answered on here, just post them and you'll get all kinds of help!

    Welcome and nice looking truck.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Nice truck. Original engine? That bed doesn't look to bad from that shot, just needs some time material and could be good as new.

Welcome! Nice to see another member from in and around CO!

You could probably wheel it a lot more than you think since the 715 is about 3"-4" higher than a stock Full Size Jeep. Thus, you've already "got" a 4 inch lift from the start!

Yours is the exact same color as mine! Tell me, is that sun faded olive drab or a custom mix? Mine is sun faded, if you hit it with some compound and a wheel it darkens right back the day it was sprayed. WELCOME!

OK, I am jealous! It is hard to tell from the picture, but is that a missive front bumper, or is that part of the trailer in the back ground?
