I guess I got off easy in CO. A simple VIN verification (mine came back as a BOAT! LOL!), a tailpipe sniffer test (EASY, since it goes by GVWR!) and a certified weight reading was all I needed, and of course the $$ for a 5 year collector's vehicle tag. I already had a good Nebraska title, however.

I had absoutely NO problem registering mine in Florida. Told them it was a 1967 Jeep Gladiator. They came outside and wrote down the 5 digit VIN 13333 and all was good.

Titled as 1967 Jeep Gladiator VIN #13333 26,000 miles Antique tag. Insured w/ Progressive Auto as same. I drive it on the highways and it has full stock Army stenciling. Police just wave.
