    Default Heavy weight m725

    I need to go to O.K. and get a m725 I bought can anyone guess the weight? my guess is 6000lbs. Am I to high?

    M725 curb weight is 6400#.

    I was thinking a little more than that, maybe 8,000 but not sure. I used a bumper pull 20' flatbed car hauler trailer and a CJ5 to bring it 90 miles. All went good at 40mph. FYI don't use a little jeep unless that is the only vehicle at the time. IA good 3/4 or 1 ton will pull it really easy as long as your trailer has brakes.

    i put mine on a nearby scale it was right around 8000#.i couldn't believe it was that heavy,my 715 was only 5500#

    I belive it should have the weight on the data plate on the dash, empty and loaded.My M725 Weights 6,420.

    I had mine delivered on a flat bed truck and not sure of the actual weight but the driver said it was one of the heaviest things hes hauled.

    I had mine at 6420 with a 1/2 tank of gas. I hauled one of mine back from Iowa to northern Michigan 20 car trailer 1/2 ton p/u with trailer brakes no promlem.

    Thanks guys I have a Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 v8 I guess it can pull a 6000lb load on a trailer but I think I will take the half ton chevy(it's a loaner) unless someone is driving west with a empty trailer I'll pay the gas.
