    Default Pictures of NP200 thru-conversion

    Hello,
Can someone point me to some pictures of the NP200's output conversion? For some reason I can't use the search function (I don't have "enough privileges"), and using Google to search the site hasn't yielded more than Barrman's post, but didn't have any active pictures.
    Thanks,
    Mikel

    Thank you Jon.

By the way, this is the message I get when I try to search:

By the way, at what RPMs does the T/C whine begin?
    Thanks.

The search feature is disabled for registered users at this time.

Well...the tcase whine start at 20-30 mph being a pain....as one gets faster it becomes a bigger pain pretty quick...I can remember driving home in the dark and listening to the sound of the whine, I could tell if I slowed down or sped up even 1 mph...you get the right pitch for a certain speed and you no longer need to look at the speedo...

Mikel, the whine in mine was so bad I had to wear earplugs for the 50 mph drive to the Iowa FE - after we installed the pass-through at the FE, I drove home with the loudest thing being my tires.

    MAJOR difference.

Thank you guys. The reason why I'm asking is that I plan on using my M715's old NP200 in my J300, along with a NV4500. The axles have 3.08 gears, so the transfer case will be turning about 45% slower than in a M715. I'm hoping this will keep me out of the heat/noise zone by a wide margin.

You'll still have some whine - but probably bearable.
