I just bought a set of data plates from Rod Shaver in AZ. He has the original type rivets. The space in upper right corner is for a Responsible Agency/ procurement plate. http://www.mvdataplates.com
You might try an industrial supply place like grainger.com they have a few brass rivets to choose from.
Just got off the phone, litteraly, with Mr. Rod Shaver. Very nice guy, anyway he charged me 3.00 dollars American for 24 rivets and 2.00 to ship them. Said their very soft and can be hammered into place with a tack hammer and vice. Now I can have that little project done.
Heh, heh, heh... I probably paid close to that for my aluminum rivets! And I searched high and low for those brass ones too. Good score, Tracy!
