24087 is one of the od colors. The 24087 seems to be more of a brown hue than green. My 725 is painted on the inside with a green hue OD. I have yet to find the correct color, I went to a paint shop trying to get the color matched ,but without much luck, I have bought just about every color rapco carries ,in spray cans and have not got a match. Rapco does have a good supply of paints I have ordered many gallons from Mark and have never been disipointed.

i always used gillespe too and it is great i also always use hardner i think it helps seal the paint better an def keeps the finish nicer longer, also you mentioned about a different color inside your (or some )ambulance often the inside of the patient comp. was painted the same color that is used on the inside of tanks and armor its a weird light green shade although i dont know the color code for it.

lusterless = flat. In the military paint code wolrd the first number indicates the colors sheen. 1 = gloss, 2= semi-gloss and 3 = flat. So take the color 4052 it is USMC Green.... (also a US Army color in camoflage etc). put a 1 in front like 14052 and it is Gloss USMC Green. 24052 and it's semi-gloss USMC Green circa 1965. 34052 and it's Flat or lusterless USMC Green USA Forest Green circa 1975-present.
