    Default Sideview Mirror Mounts

    All,

Can anyone refer me to a source for the sideview mirror mounts? Mine are all rusted.

Also, if you fab'd your own, could you post pics and material list???

    Thanks very much!

Materials list for those would be something like: 4 small 90* tabs, rounded. Drill holes.

or do you mean the arms too?? I had a couple sets of these until fairly recently... wish I kept them for you!!!

Oh no.... That reminds me that I had a set of the mounts that bolt to the doors to hold the mirrors that I promised to another member...and competely forgot to send!

Happily, I have two sets that Saxon made for me. For one M715, each set would consist of 4 pieces--each a small L-shaped piece of metal with holes for mounting to the holes on the doors, two per side.

Joe, if you need one, just promise to cover the postage and I'll a set to you. And if the Zoner I dropped the ball on would get in touch with me, I'll send your set...postage paid by me since I'm a dork and forgot all about ya!

    E-mail me, both of yous.

I don't know of a source to get them or what to use to make them, but here's a fairly good picture so you can see what you need.

Couldn't you use the arms for a M38 or M38a1? They look a lot alike and since Kaiser was building those before the 715 they might have had a surplus of arms. I always thought the hmmwv mirrors would look good on a M715.
