    Default Brakes!

Lost my brakes today. Kinda exciting considering the e brake doesn't work either. I'm pretty sure the master cylinder is the problem. No leakage from the wheel cylinders and I don't see any fluid anywhere. Does someone have a source for a rebuild kit? Would like to remain stock but I do have an M726 master from AB that I can use if I have to.

    Thanks,

    XJ

Wouldn't the MC from a M726 be the same as the M715? I'm confused by your comment are you saying you want to keep that M726 one if you can and just rebuild the original?

You can get the stock master at NAPA for less than $30 last I checked....have them look up the 66 model J truck in the book...they have a picture of the different masters and one is ours exactly.
