    Default Rear Axle Upgrade

I recently installed my new 14-bolt rear axle assembly. It has a new detroit locker, El Dorado disc brakes, and Ruffstuff Specialties rear cover. I still need to setup the e-brake, brake lines, and shocks.

Very cool. Ive been enjoying every step of your build. I've also been recently toying with the idea of running new brake lines from front to back. What lines are you thinking? Ive got a combo of both steel and nickle/copper and definitely find the nickle/copper stuff more forgiving. When I did the vette mc I ran a union between the line i ran from the mc to the oem line that was already there (using the guide on this forum), and I am just not happy with how the two matted.

I'm installing stainless steel, but NICOP is really the easiest and way to go. The hardest part about stainless steel are getting brake flairs done right. At present, I'm waiting on a couple of parts from Speedway Motors so I can finish up the rear axle assembly. I'm going with 3/16" lines on all four corners.
