Facebook....never been on it, never had an account...
I sure hope they aren't saddled with my ugly mug polluting their server space...

Stay away from it. I needed an account for marketplace to sell stuff. Some people still use craigs but it seems most people are migrated to FB. It is busy controlling many things.

    So Jon...
I am still looking at the FB M715 page because I am weak and have no self control whatsoever. A guy posted a question there and said he tried to sign up here to try and find the answer, and could not get registered. That the email verification was broken. So I can post now with no pictures and I told him I would ask and see if that was true and if so, was it getting fixed. If we can get him on here we will have 6 members instead of 5. Ok I am kidding. But I have been promoting this site as well as Dave. Er beast.. Thought I would ask and see about that. Hope it is a non issue. The M715 page is entertaining of course but just to keep this thread on track, Facebook still sucks.

Im with you guys. I miss the old days of using forums for info and what not. FB is quite toxic and is far too complex to search for usable or even valuable technical information. This site rules them on, and although this is my first post, I couldnt be more grateful for being allowed to register awhile back.

As for that FB group.... im on the Kaiser/Jeep M715 Enthusiasts group. Its got something like 10.9k members. But the spammers and scammers.... geez.... its nuts on there sometimes.

Well welcome!! I remember the days where is was so rare for a scam to happen. Now I guess it is pretty common. Nothing worse that a thief. Well there is but they rank pretty darn low. I get a kick of the guys that get upset because the poster did not do what they would have. Wrong color, wrong lift, wrong tires, wrong something. Then they gotta post their opinion. I have to really exercise control to not start something by posting how dumb it is to even go there. If you wrestle with a pig.... I think this site will come back to it's prime. I remember when you could go away for two hours and come back here and have 20-30 new posts. The BS board was on fire with fun and laughs. I cannot believe how the years have raced by. Glad you are here. Post your truck if you have one. And keep coming back!

I am with you all on this. I browse a lot of stuff on social media, but do not post much, for the same reasons.

As I have aged, I don’t share my pearls with swines…
    Thanks, George
